It looks like it is a five member race (well, 4 if you take me out :) for the 2010 StinkBall.com $1000 prize that goes to the top scoring team for the entire season.  Loserville is in first place now but he is BARELY hanging on to the lead.  Snipping at his heels is loser buc (these are great names and proves that they understand the scoring system which is VERY important no matter what fantasy football system you are playing in).  21 points behind the leader is David Boyer’s buttkicker57.  David is one of the best StinkBall players out there and he has been with the site since the beginning (all the way back to 2009 :)  In 4th place is Gary’s Cleveland Steamers (another great team name!!!  really paints a picture in your head doesn’t it :).  And then…..we get to yours truly in 5th place.  Make no mistake StinkBall.com members, I’m not only the President but I’m also a player!!!  And I ALWAYS play to win the game (wow…nice Herm Edwards quote).

Now, I don’t want to say that these are the only teams that have a chance to win.  I wouldn’t say that because if you play fantasy football long enough you will learn:  Anything can happen (this NFL season this is truer than ever.  I could be wrong but I think this season, there have been more injuries by week 7 than in any NFL season before).

All I know is:  If you want to win, you better bring your a-game because there are some good players here and the guys in the Top 5 are not going to surrender their spots without a fight.  Good luck to everyone this weekend.  I will be in Charlotte watching the 49ers at Panthers game this Sunday, email me if you are going to be at the game and I’ll try to find you :)  Last note:  Check out the new contest I created “Lucky 7/Sucky 7.
